Why is a Police check is required after visiting my home country?

Our Framework Agreement and NHSE guidelines require a police check for all Healthcare Professionals who have been out of the UK for 6 months or more (whether continuously or cumulatively) within the last 5 years of employment within the UK. 

If you have not been out of the country for more than 6 months in the last 10 years, please let us know as this will not be necessary.
